BECKAH VOIGT

Head of Dance program Webster Univ./Reiki Master/Professional Dancer

Beckah has taught dance for 20 years at Webster University and currently serves as the Head of the Dance Program there. She is the Artistic Director of ANNONYArts, a company dedicated to the creation and performance of original works and the exploration of the subtle energies in the healing arts. For over 15 years, she worked with GASH/VOIGT Dance Theatre conducting international cultural exchanges and creating full-length contemporary dance theatre pieces. Beckah now offers Subtle Energy Movement Workshops at BCOH and works one-on-one with clients as a Reiki Master/Energy Practioner in the special environment of BCOH. Beckah delights in the healing dance of relationship with clients at Brentwood Center of Health (www.BCOH.org) , while working with energy and healing, affirming each on their path, providing a conduit for their own personal journey.

Beckah is also a master reiki practitioner, and has studied for two years at the Barbara Brennan School of Healing. She has danced since she was 3 years old. Her movement experiences expanded throughout her career to include a wide range of subtle energy work including transcendental meditation, qigong and tai chi (under Sifu Justin Meehan) , and pranic healing.
